Job Description:
Equipment Loss Prevention Auditor (ELPA) is responsible for monitoring the on-site crew deliverables, event inventory, transportation, and installation of high-value AV equipment on-site. Ensures the minimization of loss, theft, and accidental damage. Verifies serial numbers, implements QR or RFID tracking, and oversees logistics between warehouses and event venues.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare event equipment movement reports;
- Monitor compliance with loading/unloadingchecklists;
- Work closely with the AV Labor Coordinator, Technical Director and venue security;
- Supervise on-site crew activities from a risk management perspective;
- Identify and mitigates operational risks related to equipment handling and crew performance;
- Assist in negotiating force majeure situations with clients and venue management;
- Review contract terms related to liability, equipment coverage, and responsibilities;
- Support the documentation and submission of insurance claims in the event of damage or loss.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law or finance or business administration or business analysis.
- Skill Certificate in Loss Prevention and Asset Protection or 6 months experience as equipment loss prevention auditor.
- Up to 30% of the overall working time per month will require travel - about 5-7 business days per event project (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Nashville, New Orleans, Orlando, Miami, Washington DC, Seattle, New York, Chicago.)
